Aims and Scope
International Theme and Amusement Park Journal (ITAPJ) is an open access, peer reviewed, and fully referred international journal published by International Theme And Amusement Park Society (ITAPS) and supported by Seoul Institute.
The main objective of ITAPJ is to converge academy and industry in the field of theme and amusement park, so that provides more comprehensive research, planning, design, operation, and evaluation in the area. ITAPJ provides a platform promoting interdisciplinary studies regarding theme and amusement park, so that scholars, researchers and enterprises can share the contemporary thoughts in the fields of theme and amusement park.
ITAPJ publishes Main Papers (theoretical, conceptual, empirical research), Book Reviews and occasional Opinion Pieces. We also commission Special Issues, so thus contact the editors (itaps@seoul.edu) if you have a proposal for a Special Issue or Opinion Piece.
New ideas and approaches in relation to the theory and practice of amusement and theme park. Contributions can be from all disciplinary perspectives, with inter-disciplinary work especially welcome. Papers can be useful when they contribute new understanding and insights to the wider social sciences or between the social (e.g., economics, geography, psychology), natural (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics) and applied sciences (e.g., Business, Engineering and technology), as well as humanities (e.g., art, history, law, languages) relating with theme and amusement park.
