Kidzania is a global job experience theme park and provides children spaces to experience various jobs such as teacher, doctor, movie star, chef, pilot and more. At Kidzania, children ages 1 to 14 have opportunity to experience real world occupations and test for themselves. Children receive KidZania currency, Kidzo, as a salary for each job, which helps them to understand the value of work. The Kidzos earned by themselves can be used to save money at bank or to buy goods at stores in Kidzania.
Kidzania opened in 1999 in Mexico City and now operates in 29 locations worldwide. KidZania CEO, Lopez Ancona, would like to expand its focus beyond entertainment to include media, games and content generation for the next 20 years of KidZania. López Ancona’s vision for Kinezis combines well-being, health, and sports in an indoor facility that can be adapted to different regions.
