The World’s largest and Asia’s first surf park will open in Turtle Island, Siheung in the Gyeonggi province of South Korea. Wave Park is artificial wave pool in which surfers can enjoy surfing all year round.

The Wave Park is designed for 80m wide and 250m long artificial waves to hit 1000 times an hour, surfers can feel as if they are surfing in nature. A 2~2.5m high artificial wave will enable all level of surfers from beginners to advantage to enjoy surfing.  

Surfing has been spotlighted as a leisure sport enjoyed by many people as it will be adopted as the official of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Japan. More than 2 million tourists, not only domestic s but also international surfers from Japan, China and Australia, are expected to visit the Wave park annually.
